It’s time to stretch my index fingers (yes I do still type with just a few fingers) and dust the cobwebs off my keyboard. I’m afraid if I don’t, I will completely forget how to use my brain! So here it goes…
It’s hard to believe it but our little lady is now 6 and a bit weeks old. That bit is very important. In baby land, time is very different than it is in the adult world. In one day an awful lot can change. In the last week or so Juliet has begun to smile, and her little dimpled cheeks are the most beautifully perfect cheeks I have ever seen. I know that I am biased and our baby has been cleverly designed to make me melt every time I look at her, but she is adorable and hilariously funny (when she isn’t roaring the house down).
It is totally true what they say about a newborn baby, our lives have been completely changed since Juliet’s arrival. I certainly wasn’t in any way prepared for what was in store. I thought that it was important to have our house baby ready, but really I should have had myself more up to speed. Before she arrived we began project house preparation, I started to tell you about our bathroom renovation but never finished the story due to a serious case of pregnancy laziness. I will post an update in the next week or so to show the finished bathroom.
In the meantime, here is a glimpse of the little person that has been keeping me so busy!
